September 5, 2011 Posted by admin

Floors are more than sixty percent of the house. You need to have the best floor for having the glamorous looking house. It helps to add to the exotic sense of the choice of the house and its amenities. Flooring in the house should be beautiful and strong as well. Flooring in the house will change according to the room and its purpose. Below is the list of flooring that will go with the accordance of the rooms

Ceramic tile flooring

Resistant ceramic tile floors are probably the best against sand, salt or dust. But they are of due danger if transport liquid like water or oil is spill on it. There are chances of getting slipped over it. So such tiles are meant to be fitted in basement or porch where there are less chances of spilling anything. These types of tiles should be avoided in kitchen.

Wooden flooring

To add to the authentic style of the house, wooden are the best. Wooden tiles are not more prone to get deracinate. And even if they do so then they are easy to fix up. These floors will best suit in living rooms, bedrooms, porch, basement and study. This type of floor should be avoided in the kitchen. But if you must have them in kitchen then, go for the mat finish over it and not the high-gloss finish. Although flat or satin finish will last longer and look better.

Carpets

Carpets are the best entities in the house. They are suited any where. From porch to basement, from living room to bedroom, from kitchen to study room they will add to any mood. Irrespective of the type of flooring wooden or ceramic carpet looks really stunning. Carpets are cozy, portable and light weight.

Tips for floor keeping:

1. Place door mats according to the size of the door in front of entrance and also immediately inside.
2. Broom away the garbage and dust out that’s over the dust.
3. Wipe the floor every day. This will help to keep the floor polished for ever.
4. Try and avoid spilling of any thing on the floor.
5. Avoid hitting any thing hard on the floor.

On the demand side, exporters and strategic planners focusing on ceramic pipes, conduits, guttering, and pipe fittings in Germany face a number of questions. Which countries are supplying ceramic pipes, conduits, guttering, and pipe fittings to Germany? How important is Germany compared to others in terms of the entire global and regional market? How much do the imports of ceramic pipes, conduits, guttering, and pipe fittings vary from one country of origin to another in Germany? On the supply side, Germany also exports ceramic pipes, conduits, guttering, and pipe fittings. Which countries receive the most exports from Germany? How are these exports concentrated across buyers? What is the value of these exports and which countries are the largest buyers?

This report was created for strategic planners, international marketing executives and import/export managers who are concerned with the market for ceramic pipes, conduits, guttering, and pipe fittings in Germany. With the globalization of this market, managers can no longer be contented with a local view. Nor can managers be contented with out-of-date statistics which appear several years after the fact. I have developed a methodology, based on macroeconomic and trade models, to estimate the market for ceramic pipes, conduits, guttering, and pipe fittings for those countries serving Germany via exports, or supplying from Germany via imports. It does so for the current year based on a variety of key historical indicators and econometric models.

In what follows, Chapter 2 begins by summarizing where Germany fits into the world market for imported and exported ceramic pipes, conduits, guttering, and pipe fittings. The total level of imports and exports on a worldwide basis, and those for Germany in particular, is estimated using a model which aggregates across over 150 key country markets and projects these to the current year. From there, each country represents a percent of ....read more

From there, each country represents a percent of the world market. This market is served from a number of competitive countries of origin. Based on both demand- and supply-side dynamics, market shares by country of origin are then calculated across each country market destination. These shares lead to a volume of import and export values for each country and are aggregated to regional and world totals. In doing so, we are able to obtain maximum likelihood estimates of both the value of each market and the share that India is likely to receive this year. From these figures, rankings are calculated to allow managers to prioritize India compared to other major country markets. In this way, all the figures provided in this report are forecasts that can be combined with internal information sources for strategic planning purposes.

Basement Flooring – Out of the Way Rooms

July 3, 2011 Posted by admin

The basement is often the most overlooked area of the home. But with some fresh new ideas, a little ingenuity and a weekend, you can turn a dark unused room into a contemporary, comfortable den or a family room. You need to be concerned about not only the cold basements floor but also about the moisture. Initially even if the bare floor may seem to be dry if proper care is not taken to look for the cracks and moisture content the flooring could trap vapor emissions. What type of system is used and how large is the budget is upto the house owner.

Engineered Hard Wood Floors

Engineered hardwood flooring is made of three to five layers of different hardwoods. Each layer is oriented 900 to the surrounding layers. This prevents expansion, contraction, wrapping and cupping from moisture. The layers of wood are glued together and laminated under high heat and pressure to bond them together. Hardwood floors brighten and beautify the living space of the dark basement. Hard wood floors are easy to maintain.

Ceramic tile and slates

Ceramic floor tiles and slates though make the room a bit cold; this can be remedied by placing few warm rugs over it. Ceramic tiles are a robust and durable sub floor that can be easily fitted over the concrete floor. The ceramic tiles are like concrete and can be easily affected by the underlying tensions. To prevent the cracks from affecting the tiles certain preventive measures need to be taken. Ensure steel rods run through the concrete sub-floor, as these will hold the tiles together and reduce the chances of thicker and more apparent fractures and cracks from popping up. By laying down crack-isolation membrane under the ceramic tiles will allow the tile and the concrete sub-floor of the basement to move independently of each other. Another option is painting the concrete sub-floor or possibly even staining it.

Carpeting the basement – Is it a good idea?

Carpeting can add warmth, softness and a bright look and also a finished appearance to a concrete basement floor. Carpets require regular cleaning to maintain the resistance to microbes. Carpeting the basement can cause asthma and allergic reactions. Dehumidifying the basement will help reducing the condensation from occurring on the basement floor. However they may not eliminate it. The safest way to avoid allergens, dust mites and other biological allergens is by using area rugs instead of carpets. Since the rugs can be removed frequently for dusting and cleaning.
